Upstate NY group dyno discount!

There's a new shop in town here, Dynamx Inc., in Webster, NY which is just outside of Rochester.

I am going in to get my car baseline dyno'd this week. They have a Mustang MD-AWD-500 dyno. For more info on the dyno, see this:

http://www.mustangdyne.com/ChassisDyno/mdawd500.htm

I spoke with one of the guys there and they are willing to do a pretty sweet group deal if I can round up enough folks to go. For my car, I am doing a double session deal which is $150 for 2 sessions, but for which you must pay up front for both. $75/session (avg. 1.5hrs) is a damn good deal people!!

So if you're interested in dyno'ing your car (the dyno also converts to a 2WD dyno if you don't have an evo/awd car) post a reply and I'll try to get a list going.

I thought I'd offer this up to the evom community.

I'm down. I live in syracuse now but I'm from that area. How much of a discount is offered and how many people have to be involved? I have some wrx and VW friends who might want to get in on it. Is two sessions necessary, or can you do just one?

The 2 session thing is just for me, I was just talking about it in case you wanted to go it alone.

For a group discount, we are looking at between $80-$100/head depending on how many people come (~10 for $80) and how long we need the dyno. It'd most likely be a full or 1/2 day setup.

If your friends are interested, get them on this site and have them reply to this thread.

The 350z club is doing a group day sometime next week I believe, they got it down to $80/head w/ 10 people and it's a full day (8hrs).

Also FYI if you are seriously down for this, you will be required to submit your credit card for timeslot holding to minimize the no-shows.

FYI standard pricing is $135/hour for this place, so we are looking at a substantial deal.

Good deal man. I am going in Monday at 6pm for my first session/baseline, so I'll let you know how it goes. They are brand new, and seem very eager to help.
