You guys should have kept it legal with a license plate. That way you could run the ESX car.

Great job guys!

I can't wait until the other car runs the 1/4 parachute and all. Let's see who gets into the 9's next.

Here is the slip info from last night:

Run 1

60' 1.65
330 4.70
1/8 7.13 @ 100.8
990 9.14
1/4 10.90 @ 132.7

Run 2

60' 1.84
330 4.95
1/8 7.37 @ 101.29
990 9.36
1/4 11.11 @ 132.40

We've spent countless hours trying to finish this car and it's finally coming together. We have so many custom parts on the car and the plan was to make a few easy passed to make sure everything working well. Custom brake setup, custom tranny...the list goes on and on. After being rained out the night before I wasn't going to miss another opportunity to make a run so I just went all out. The car was smooth and strong and I couldn't be happier. I wish we had the tach issue figured out but that should be resolved today. It really sucks to have to do it all by ear! I bogged the launch on the second run as a result but it still ran faster than any other EVO to date. Mark's AEM tuning was perfect and we're still running very conservatively. After a few more runs we'll put the bottle in and try to run some single digit times.

We didnt even know if the brakes would work.. Car will go deep into the 10's off bottle. Long hours of getting the car ready paid off. We had some trouble with the ignition system we were running. Ended up taking it out and putting the bone stock ignition in the car.. thats what its running right now. We also didnt have a tach in the car , LOL .. The one we got from spa never worked. Jeff ran two passes blind.. no shift light either. Im super happy with how the car is setup... I think someone on this board needs to adjust their signature ... " slowtrix " i think we were called. .. ehh i dont think so..
