Hey Lancer owners in Mass.

I have had my 03' Lancer OZ for about 3 weeks now, and its the best car i have ever owned. My question is I got the car brand new with 5 miles on it, but for some reason it already had Xenon bulbs and a custom exhaust already on it. I have gone over the dealers list of options several times....and can find nothing about this anywhere. I would call the dealer, but Im afraid there gonna like try n charge me more...LoL. Is this just one of the ones that the dealers do up a bit and display in hopes of selling or do some of them come like this???

do you have any pics?? my dealership has a couple different cars the fixed up "fast and furious" models but they wanted like 2gs for it...did you ask for the factory parts..bc you should...its there bad if they didnt charge you for it...

 

I'll post pics when I get my digi cam up n running again. I'll give them a call tommorow and ask them whats up. It was a weird situation, because they had no AT OZ on there lot, so I had to wait a 2 days for them to find me one, i didn't want another 5spd either. I didn't know what color I was getting until I picked it up that day...LoL. Plus, the only one they could find had the power roof on it, so they told me they wouldnt charge me in exchange for waiting and not knowing the color.. nice perk huh? That is why I think this might have been one of those cars they put out front to pull people in.. dunno though. I will get to the bottom of this... eventually.

 

the one i was trying to get had 18 " enkei rs5s exhaust custom pedals shifter...modern image graphics...tinted windows...and my first question is where are the factory parts?? they didnt seem to know but i know the guys who did it so i called them they had the stuff sitting around...the dealership wouldnt come down on the price bc they got charged 2gs for round a grand worth or work...and they wanted 2300 for it...mitsu credit wouldnt go for thought...so i bought my stock oz and in the future will be doin all of there "fix me ups"...but i would seriously call and at least ask where the hell the factory exhaust is

 

This is way weird. Did your dealer give you all the window stickers off the car? It's required by law in Massachusetts. If your car had xenons and or other stuff, there should be an "Additional Installed Equipment" decal applied to the window.

On another note, look at the main window sticker with the price and equipment listing...what / where was the original dealer if your dealer had to do a locate or swap to get your AT OZ.

The truth is out there somewhere.....
