My partner and I started the EOC because we were frustrated with the typical "open track day" where you are just stuck behind a bunch of hondas etc. That, coupled with a lack of affordable quality instruction led to the idea. Besides, these cars are really fast stock and if you set them up, they just catch everything.

We use instructors who are career professional drivers for factory teams etc. and keep it to 30- 40 cars. You end up with 3-4 regular track days worth of clean laps and seeing 30 evos on the track is a site to behold:

If someone is serious about setting this up, pm me. We would be open to giving some space on the site for other chapters to be setup. We are not doing this for commercial reasons... Just trying to get more evos where they belong: at the track!

Good luck,

Mark McComsey
Screw the idea of me finding them they found us!!!!... We should get KK involved in this to see what strings he can pull in order to make this possible. For user turn out I think we should also allow the WRX/STI owners to come.

KK is preparing for his west-coast trip - permanent ;^()

I would definitely be game for something - heading to Summit Point in Sept (open track).

Ok guys to try to build up more interest. Take a look at this. I have the contact in order to set this up. How would you like this kinda coverage while you zip around the track when we eventually get a track event going.

This is the best idea I've seen here lately. I'd definitely be a huge fan for an EVO trackday. A private trackday that I was supposed to go to next week got cancelled, and I would have been the only evo. If this really does happen it would be great!!!! Good luck, and I hope to see you at the track.

Guy's the best way to go about this since we will be new to the scene is to jump on with another group that welcomes other cars. One such is the del-val Miata club. My co-worker belongs to that group and the footage you see in the vid above is actually him. I wouldn't mind. Ill get more info on their next event. So far from what Im hearing from him the best beginne track is the Pocono north track.
