There will be a NASA Autox at Giant Stadium NJ on 8/22. People, stop bragging about how the magazines said the EVO are better handling car when comparing to the STI. Prove it! There are always countless of wrxs and stis at NASA (at least 30) but rarely see any evo there. I don't want to be the only evo up against 40 subi again. So anyone here who can drive?

 

I'd be in... that is if I had any experience at all Auto-Xing, strange how you don't see EVOs in the Tri-State area driven all that competitively, I haven't because of Mitsu's peering eyes.

kevo, do we have to sign up in advance or just show up? i will be there... do they have helmets for rental or do we need to bring our own?

 

Just dial in your tire pressures first. The Evo is a little understeery if you stick with stock specs. Pump up the rears a bit to get the car to rotate a little more freely.

differentstroke- all you need is be there early, a valid driver licience and a helmet. They might have loaner helmet at the site but not 100% sure.

mifesto- preregister is not nessesary but recomended because they limited to 80 cars so everyone will have at least 8 runs. but if you want to just show up that day, make sure you get there way early to get on the waiting list, the last thing you want is to get there and find out its full. So get there EARLY!

 

I always go to NASA autoX's... went to the last one but didn't run unfortunately. There DEFINITELY needs to be more of an Evo presence there, as there are a few dozen WRXs/STIs. See you guys there!
