Pics finally

Hey guys,

I finally put my pics up. They aren't wonderful but they sort of chronicle the night

EDIT: Of course the camera is at fault, not the picture taker

Thanks go out to Josh for the great food and hospitality, will be visiting the restaurant again, thats for sure. The return trip got interesting real guick, a little off road adventure, the drunk in the white truck that came around the corner sideways spinning his wheels for all he was worth, and the good sammariton who helped Jon out, thanks dude whoever you were. Ended up being a long night but it was interesting. Will post pics when i figure out how, lol
Hehe I didn't think it prudent to ride your tail in case something :cough: were to happen :cough: and for some reason I think my passenger seat would have started screaming sooner than my tires But I was really impressed with your Lancer as well as the others, especially in those conditions.

I also know the feeling of watching a certain red high-performance car disappear from my view. At PIR there was a red suped up Corvette ZR-1 behind me with V700 (R compound) tires, and me with my lowly 4 banger and street tires. By the end of the session he was nowhere to be found Back in the pit area the guy came up to my car, looked at my tires, looked at me in disbelief, shook his head and just said "fast car" and walked away lol. I guess he expected to see some Hoosiers or something hehe.

Anyway, good times guys that was an interesting night that I'll not soon forget.

why wait, i am down for more shizzy driving weather. i think it was a combo, of the slow going, and headlights in my face that made me feel a little bit queasy. no problem though. i'd do it again in a heartbeat. i may do it by myslef, that is a great road.

Thanks I'll communicate your appreciation to her as she took 100% of the pictures. She loved your food by the way, and so did I. That bread was to die for, and the smoked ham & pineapple pizza, and pesto And here I was thinking Seaside had nothing but tourist trap food!

About the driving, she gets a headache if i really rip on it, but that night she was fine. Actually she commented to me more than once that we were going kinda slow, but of course you have to in pouring rain when it's pitch black, going around blind corners you've never been down with crazy drunk people doing doughnuts in pickup trucks and deer prancing down the road, and of course the occasional avoiding of vehicles that had an off trying to keep the Oregon critters out of their grill (good luck on those repairs ghostrider! darn varmints!).
EDIT: It was plenty quick for me! lol.

Thanks for your pics too, I liked the inside shots. I think the content of the pics I posted were good, just my camera is cheap and old. If you shake even a little it looks like a double exposure, and it can't handle dim lighting very well.

I think it would be cool if we could all plan far ahead and attend a track day next season, or even an auto-x or hillclimb. I'm all done for this year, but next season I plan on going as soon as possible. I'll probably start out with another Cascade school, which I highly recommend to anyone who likes driving. Only $150 for in-class instruction @ PCC, and four 20-minute sessions with an instructor. It's a blast and really informative. Porsche club has good instructors too, as well as BMW club, but Cascade is probably the best instruction you can get for the money.

Looks like you guys had some fun!

Team Continental also puts on a great drivers training course and has some good instructors as well. Lots of options out there:-)
