yes it is illegal.the RS2 are the only ones that can be made street legal cause its LHD.

RHD is NOT illegal. EI does NOT import GSR's however. Assuming it [i]is[/is] legal it was imported and "legalized" through other means.

Sorry Celm, the LHD Evo7 RS2s are not street legal it seems.

In any case, RHD cars are not illegal as Hobie said.
There are plenty of street legal RHD cars in the US.

explain to me why the EI EVO`s are not street legal after G&K does the conversion and the DOT give it the OK and issue vin # to make them able to be registered

Tell you what, Celm, go ask the DOT about the legality of the Evo7 and then come and tell us.

I was about the say the same thing...that pic is around for a while.

Celm, does that mean the EVO VII is currently on the NHSTA's approved vehicle list, just like the Skyline is?
