Got it last week and havent stopped making the whistling & chiruping sound of the engine since.

 

Some of my neighbors were offering to buy it from us for a respectable mark up. Guess what I told em...

 

All of a sudden I hear more cars idling outside my house.

I noticed you got a Cooper. OK yung ride chong? I really wanted to get a Red w/ white top Mini Cooper but the Evo was better deal.

I got it for around 2+M. Didnt get it from MMC Phil's dealers. Taga nila at 3.2M

 

The mini cooper is for my wife. It was fun to drive too. Mahal pala bumili diyan sa pinas ng Evo. But its good that you got one there. Enjoy your new car, pare.

 

Lucky wife... Thanks man. Time was MMC Phil was offering it for $43,400. Oh well.

USDM? I would figure you would have access to a JDM Evo. My Girls uncle in PI has a JDM IV.

Yeah USDM. I'm guessing MMC Phil and almost all gray market importers bring em in cause they're really cheap & LHD. Also a lot of Filipinos have a perception that US spec is always the best. I'm not complaining cause the USDM's safer. What bummed me out was the Evo 8 MR was released in Japan last Feb 13.

I've asked around and no one seems to bring in the non-USDM 8s.
