jah...it should be a Sat...that way we could spend the night...and have sunday to recoup....cause that sunday thing was a killer cause most of us had stuff to do for work the next day.

just think....the Evos would be like seeing Ferraris/Aston Martins for these ppl

 

 

All aside, I thought it was a great ride for my first ride. I was kinda hanging in the back just enjoying the scenery for the most part. I really enjoyed when everyone met up at Fred Meyer because I just enjoyed looking at all the cars and then leaving with with an escort of Turbo'd menaces. Great fun! Thanks for organizing this evolved04, no matter what anybody says everyone chose to drive that day and drive the way the did. Also

I should've had continued on with the run but I ended up heading back after the cheese factory and ended up getting tagged for speeding. 46 in a 30...DOH! The bad part was I was pulled over probably 500ft past the 30 mph sign where it goes from 45 to 30 in Rockaway, OR. I was also following a truck too and I could have sworn I had slowed down by then.

Anybody know how to get out of a ticket???

 

oh man j-dog. that blows. good luck fighting the small town oregon ticket. try to hire a lawyer in the town, and he turns out to be the judge. (happened to me before)

 

im new to the forums as well as a new evo owner but i have to say the drive was a blast and i thank all the members of Northwest Evolution for the invite. *cough*how do i join*cough*.....

off topic but does anyone know of any honda guys looking for a swap? trying to sell a motor for cheep

 

That drive was a blast. When I got home today from work had to wash the beast it went for brown to blue. Oh how I enjoy a clean car. Also at work this morning I had to tell ever body about the trip. and show of all the dirt before I washed it.Got to love the northwest.

 

i powersprayed the underside and the thick crap off, and then had to wash it. i here ya, the evo didnt look to bad in brown.

 

I'd only be so lucky. Are traffic lawyers spendy...never had to hire one before. Regardless looks like I'll be making another roadtrip out to the coast just to go to court.

So any plans in the near future for another meet? Heck, we don't even have to drive anywhere just gathering in a parking lot was fun to me.

if your driving record isnt bad then i wouldnt bother with the lawyer. i would figure if you needed one, and could find one locally then i would expect to pay 150-200 for him to talk to you, read over your case, and then show up in court. they are all different though, but small town ones seem to be cheaper than big town lawyers. good luck man.

 

Well the plus for is I have a clean record so I hope I get some sort of bonus points for that. Oh well, I guess I'll find out.

 

if your record is clean i would think they would give you some sort of probation or something. shouldnt be to bad, not worth the lawyer IMHO.
