i bought a new 03 evo from bruce titus dealers for $28,9. every dealer seems to add a market value adjustment. try going to a dealer that has the color you want, then say you want a color they don't have. then "compromise" and say you will buy one of their in stock evos if they sell for msrp. that worked for me.

I was able to pick up my 05 RS for 500 less than msrp and got the crappy guage package for free. I went to renton mitsu. They treated me very fair for a first time new car buyer. They were the only mitsu dealer around that actually treated me like a valued customer. The guys at mountain mitsu were pretty rude and would not budge below 2500 above msrp.

those are nice rates, i hope to get that! my credit score will be up near 700 once my rx8 is gone.

what are your opinions on the diamond option plan and regular plan? i was considering doing their regular plan and go from there. hopefully they give me a good rate.
the diamond option plan has a good concept to it but at the end of the term, that is where things get ugly. personally, i was planning on putting more cash into the car throughout the years. eventually if i sold it, i can actually make a little bit of cash. i am due to go on alot of trips so saving cash for the final payment on this plan is not too hard to do.

the diamond plan is the one with the balloon payment at the end right? i was also interested in it, but i was told they dont do it very often, and my dealer wouldnt do it on an evo. not sure why, probably some crazy BS line, cause it makes them less money.

The balloon payment plan is not legal in Oregon. At least that is what they told me at a Honda dealer. On my EVO I got 3% interest for 7 years thanks to a local credit union.

im gonna go dig up more info on this diamond plan. it really has an interesting thing to it but i wanna find out more. depending on the balloon payment, it could easily be done for me at the end of the term. hell u might have the car traded out or sold by then anyways, u never know.

^ exactelly, as a person who only drives cars for 2 or so years, it would work out nice. i am kind of glad that i didnt do it though, as i can mange the payment fine, and who knows what kind of situation you will be in in 4 years to make a 10-15k payment on a car that old.

i talked with korum mitsu and they told me the diamond option plan doesnt apply to evos.
i also recieved more bad news in my plot to rid myself of my rx8. its a long story but in the end, my negative equity would be like 8-10k. do the math if u rolled that on top of an evo LOL!
