Kyle-are you in a big hurry to get your exede up and running or would you be interested in waiting a little while for a group thing to get going, I know it would be hard to wait so i totally understand if you couldnt.

not huge turnout yet so i think we may have a little more time to get things going.

What do you guys think so far?

FAME automotive in Redmond has a Mustang AWD dyno (same as Matrix) and they can tune several types of engine management including the XEDE.

I'm probably at least a month or two out, I just bought the ATP 3037 turbo kit so I'll need to install that along with my cams before doing any tuning. Of course now I need new injectors and probably a new clutch. I was thinking of taking the suggestion of just going to FAME and having them tune the car also. I need to get two custom programs setup for the car.

Vishnu has a off the self map for the ATP 3037 kit if you use a 660-680cc injectors.

Cool, I figured they would have some sort of base map. I'm not sure that they have one for the revolver cams yet though since the recommended settings are very different than the HKS. Thanks for the info.

Iwill have to look into FAME in redmond. I was trying to get a consensus on shops in the area to see who have had:

1. experience with the EVO's
2. access to an AWD dyno so they can tune and we can have some dyno runs done without having to go to different sites.

basically an all in one place, but i would definetly prefer someone with experience with EVO's or the 4g63 in general.

Anyone know of any other shops in the wa or area, besides Matrix, Torque Freaks, FAME?That is all the ones that have been recommended to me as far as now.

another problem is the variable from dyno to dyno. even if they are both mustangs, you will see different numbers from different machine. the best way to get around that is to run the same dyno everytime that you tune. that will be tough for oregon guys to get up to redmond just for an hour on the dyno. i am not sure if this makes a difference to anyone, but it could to me if i decide to start modding heavily. anyway just another .02

Yeah, location would be another consideration. Personally i have to travel about 3 1/2 hours either way to oregon or to seattle, so whatever will work for majority of us that participte, i am flexible. I do see the consistancy problem you mentioned, and i would like to keep all of my dyno numbers on the same dyno as well to judge all my gains. well just have to figure it out.

I live a few blocks from Fame and would be interested in having Shiv come up for some Exede tuning. I currently have a Buschur stage IV with Exede and will be adding a turbo and injectors in the next couple months. I'm also going to change exhausts and will be selling my Buschur turbo-back with Magnaflow, hi-flow cat, test pipe & wideband bung for a good price. I've been bugging Fame to add boost charting to their dyno printouts - if you talk with them please tell them the same.

Is there any kind of group rate that perfection can offer us for dyno time. I know there are people in WA and OR who may be interested in this as a start. From there on, i speak for myself, I want to find a shop that can tune to the mods I choose as well as offer their expertise as to the mod path to follow.

Let us know if there is anything you guys can do. Thanks!
