Woodburn Sunday March 13th

I'm going to run my car at Woodburn this Sunday to get a base line run before I do my cams and computer.

Anybody else going to be there, it is a test and tune day.

It's a drag strip, I think it's the best one in the NW.

www.woodburndragstrip.com

When I used to race my honda I would always get my best times at this track.
Its about 20minutes south of portland.

Great, thanks for the link. So what about the previous comments pertaining to it being a tuning day? Is it something organized, or there any pro tuners there? Evo-specific or just... ?

Thanks

if you're gonna run there, make sure your VIN numbers and Licence plate are hidden! i had a friend who sold his EVO run there last year on a TT day, and got a letter in the mail saying how his warrenty was voided. (he had the pit pass warrenty too...) (*`_')
so cover them up cuz mitsu techs will rape you of your warrenty.....

A test & tune day at the drag strip just means you get to run and make adjustments to your car. It's not a real competition. You can run your car, look at your time slips and make adjustments/tune to your car or driving strategy. Basically if your not tuning your car it is just a practice day.

I'm not that woried about the warranty.

The only time I ever went to the drag strip I ran a 13.5@108 at Woodburn. Of course, my 2.1 sec 60' and hitting the rev limiter in 1st didn't help my time.

Good luck out there.

13.421 @ 104.523mph

I was just trying to learn how to launch the car. I would either bog or smoke the clutch. Need more practice, my best 60' was 2.0sec.

I have a ACT clutch on the way, I would like to see 1.7 60'. That alone would get me in the 12's.

Also have cams, cam gears and fuel pump on the way.
