Just as the title reads,where are the closest dragstrips to Long Beach area,and what days are they open as I will be making a trip out there in 2 weeks for the Long Beach Grand Prix,just wondering where else I can spend some time around anything that has 4 wheels and goes fastThanks for any replys.Also,how long to get to any of these strips?

 

I'm sorry man, there are no dragstrips anywhere near Long Beach. The closest dragstrips are Fontana (not open all the time), LACR at Palmdale (almost 3000 foot elevation) both are 1/4 mile tracks and are about 60 - 70 miles away from Long Beach. Irwindale is a 1/8 mile track and they usually race on Thursday evenings and they are about 30 miles from Long Beach. Almost forgot Pomona, unfortunatly they are no longer open for Grudge/Time only drag races.
