Perrin Fuel Rail issues

Just installed the Perrin Fuel Rail and I had a few problems. First the fuel hose that came with the kit was to short. 2nd the top screw on the right side is too long, guess I will shave the bolt down. The main reason for this thread is: after installing the fuel rail the 3rd injector from the left was spraying a small mist of gas. I gently move it side to side and forward and back. The mist stopped. Is this something to worry about?

An injector that is spraying gas out is a problem. The most common problem that causes this is a pinched/damaged O-ring. This happens frequently when the injectors are put into the rail without greasing/oiling the O-ring. If this is the problem you just need to get a new O-ring, make sure to lube it up before re-installing.

I agree. Put new o-rings w/ lube cause lube makes the world go round.....and you should be fine afterwards. Keep an eye on it for a week or two just to be safe.

otherwise.. slap some meat on the extractor grill, fire up the gasoline spray and you have an instant hibachi grill

In defense of Perrin The hose that came with the kit isn't too short. You use it with the supplied barb to replace the stock hard return. And It specifically says in the very detailed instructions that you do not replace the bolts in the factory order because as you said they won't fit. This kit is the easyiest fuel rail change I've ever seen/done (2hours max) and came with great instructions. Please read them!
