Injectors and Fuel Rail Question

I recently bought a Perrin fuel rail and I have been waiting to buy the injectors before I install the rail. I am a big fan of only installing something once so that is why I am going to install the injectors and the fuel rail at the same time. I have ran a search and it seems that he majority of the Evos are upgrading to the 1000cc injectors. I plan on going for a tune sometime in May. How safe/reliable is it to run our Evos on the 1000cc and Fuel Rail without a tune? I don't plan on driving the Evo much between now and then but was curious if I should have the guys doing my tune install the injectors or if it was "safe" to do the install before the drive down to the tune.

Why do you need that large of injectors? What turbo are you running? Many tuners find it hard to go beyond 780 injectors on the stock ecu. If you search you will see many posts about this. Their are members on here running almost 600whp with 35/37r's with 780's so that is why I ask about the large upgrade.

I plan on doing an ETS 60 Trimm Turbo Upgrade this Fall. Should I just wait until I do the turbo upgrade to install the injectors? Safe to run the 780s before the Turbo Upgrade? Thanks for your help.

its safe to run them if oyu can scale them to run properly but you will have some drivability issues with them, i had 720cc before and they ran great but the car would stumble occasionally cause they are so big, im going to 1000cc myself to do a E85 tune but just know the bigger you go on the stock ECU the harder it will be to get them to idol right and what have you, plus yoru gonna go throu gas like crazy, but if you dont have someone scale them and just slap them in your gonna burn so rich at WOT that the car might just die cause it will be like dumping a gallon of water on a match
