so here is a story........

I was At skool today (Jan 27th)... have pics of my car on my table.... i brought for photography....... i got out of skool and there is a kid at my skool with a silver lancer.. (OZ) Stock... and there r about 8 kids at my skool in a car club... With Couple 5.0L Mustangs, some volvo 240HP turbos.. and this kid with a volvo asked the kid with the silver lancer... hey wats ur car run... and the kid with lancer said.. y u wanna know?? all u need to know is that i can kick ur *** Anyday...... so the guy with the Volvo says to kid with lancer... ok lets race right now... so the 240HP turbo volvo and the silver lancer... go out to a street by my skool.... with me watching and the other 7 kids who were with the volvo.... OFF THEY GO!!! in half a second the volvo OWNED The lancer... (like we all know it would) and they all look over at me..... HAHAH another lancer (they talking about mine) HAH u wannna race that peice of ****??? and me.. the ***** i am.. says no and leaves... and from now on i get **** from all 8 of them... every day.....
sorry was a lame story...
but thought i would share....
so just a word of advice... its ok to race someone who will own u.... but dont talk crap when u know ur gunna get ur anus kicked...

You can beat a turbo Volvo with a Lancer, if it's a road race. My brother had to admit he couldn't run with me in his '02 S40 in the corners, but I couldn't touch him in the long straights. Fortunately we were on backroads with lots of turns.

 

yep, so true scorp. almost everyone thinks of a fast car as a car that can go fast in a straightaway, people have to start realizing that that's not the only element in racin (well, REAL racing).
