Drags @ Pacific Raceways 5/4
it's just too wet out. the gates may open but unless the track itself is dry, they won't let anyone race. watching and waiting for the track to dry and hoping that the showers don't come back is not the way i want to spend my time.
Looks like chance of showers scared everyone off!!! More runs for us in the 2g!!! lol I just called Pina Motorsports in Kent and it is dry there. I will call again in an hour...

I was gonna go, but EVERY weather oulet had intermittent showers starting at 4. On a Sunday morning, I could probably be there in 50 minutes, if I knew where I was going. Today, now, it would be at least 6:30 before I got there....
*******ed Seattle weather forecasters. I'm NEVER listening to them again (and neither should you). Oh, and in my 27 years of living here, this is the first time I've ever relied on meterologists for weather info. Live and learn.

stupid forecasters !
turned out to be a good racing day. temps stayed cool but the track was dry. best of all, a lot of ppl stayed away because of the threat of rain and the ones that were there early were rewarded with quick lines. the word must have gotten around cus the size quickly grew after an hour.
my best run - 12.62 @ 110 mph

Nice numbers (92 octane I assume)... by the time I made it down there it was almost 9 o'clock and registration was closed. I guess it was cool to drive 120 miles round trip just to watch a few folks run... not really but oh well...
