okay. hows this, meet up at the tracks and kick it for awhile, then head out to germantown ( or if you guyz know any other place that has the twisties will add it on to our run or go to that instead, "whatevers clevers" ) then get a bite to eat or if not hungry grab some coffee at a near by starbucks. then well split from there and call it a night.

all this can happen in 3-4 hours or maybe even more if we really end up enjoying the meet.
the tracks is a great idea. i never been there. alwayz wanted to but never got the chance. maybe j dog will run his car. how about it ??? huh?? huh?? j/k

I'll run my car at the track, that's no problem Late night drags only happen on Friday and Saturday nights and I don't think they start any runs until 6 or 7pm (I'd have to look at the schedule). I was thinking maybe we could meet in the Target parking lot in Tanasbourne (or Fred Meyer parking lot in Beaverton?) since it's pretty big and then head up 185th to Germantown or whatever we decide at the meet or if we don't decide to drive I'm okay with hanging out somewhere...Starbucks is just right across the street. Then after that if anybody wanted we could go to the track for late night drags.

I'm always off on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday's except when I have my reserve weekends All I know the next two Saturday's are busy for me because I have Mother's Day this Saturday (celebrating early) and next Saturday I have Reserves. So if we wanted to make this happen anytime over the next two weekends Friday would be best for me.

This will be fun if we can make this little local meet happen.

Ok, here's an idea for the route, to make it a little longer, and loop it around

Start - Tanasbourne
Head out 185th to Cornelius Pass Rd.
Take CP Rd. to Skyline
go out Skyline to Rocky Point Rd
Rocky Point Rd. to Hwy 30
Hwy 30 to Germantown
Germantown to Skyline
Skyline to West Union
West Union to final desination (Hooters, McMennamins, Starshmucks, etc)

that'd make it at least an hour long run and not cover any of the same ground twice

Looks like we have 6 total and 3 for the track so far? So far Fridays are the best bet for me at least for the next few weeks but not this Friday What's everyone else's availability and how much notice do you all think you need.

From: BeAvErToN,
alright!!!! hows this,
meet up at starbucks (the one on beaverton town center right beside fred myers).
then take TV hwy and make a right in 185th, straight down untill we hit germantown.
this way we'll cover more ground. no short cuts. we want to represent!!
we'll take g-town to pir and watch our evo's run. (hehehe gonna be fun!!!!)
after we see what some of our evos can do on the strip, we'll head back to town and grab a bite to eat and talk about it.

meeting will be at 7pm
nebody wants directions pm me.
two weeks in advance so i guess we'll do this 20th or 21st. fri or sat?? if anyone disagree on this, we'll work something out or maybe bump it up another week. i want it to work out for everybody.

also other cars might roll. so far i think an s13 with turbo might roll with us. he said that he wants to smoke some of the evos!!!! heheh he told me what he ran. but im not gonna say becuz it wouldnt be fair. hehe
also a non turbo 300zx might go.
if you guyz dont like the idea, (i hope not) well have them drive behind the evos!!!! heheh j/k!!
but i want the evos to be in a line because this is an evo run after all.
any question please dont hesitate to ask. i just want to make this work!!

thanks guyz

Sounds like fun.... :)

Hey guys,

This sounds like it'd be fun for sure. I'll briefly introduce myself here - I live in the Beaverton/Tigard area, and I just recently (this last weekend) picked up a WW '04 Evo RS with just a few miles on it (brand new car really...). The car is AWESOME and I am having soooo much fun with it (as I knew I would!). For me, the Saturday would work better, but if it comes down to Friday being the better day for everyone else, I am sure I could manage to rearrange my schedule to some point. I put up just a small page w/ a few pics of my new ride.... We dyno'd it to get some good bone stock numbers at PM on their dynapack. I'll have some more photos later, but for now if anyone is interested, here it is:
http://trevor.chase.net/evobuy.html

Look forward to going on a fun drive and meeting some evo owners since I am certainly new to the whole scene

-Trevor

Good idea on getting bone stock numbers. I wish I would have done it before I started modding

I'm thinking Friday the 20th would be awesome to meet up at Starbucks in Beaverton (I'm only saying that because that's the best time for me unless we wanted to do a Saturday the following week). Maybe we could meet a little earlier like 5pm or 6pm? Maybe even 4pm...or is that just pushing it for some?

Friday the 20th or Saturday the 21st sound fine for the get together. Whichever day we end up doing this I'll probably have to leave a little early due to work and to take care of my kids, so meeting up earlier sounds like a good idea.
