NW Introductions?

Hey guys ... While I would like to get to know general members of this WHOLE board, I have a feeling that I will be conversing with you guys in the NW more often than that of the general board .. so rather than post again to the noobs section .. I thought I'd post here. Basically just a way to introduce myself (and others hopefully) so those who are new/haven't met the rest of you NW guys can get introduced.

Anyways, I'm Steve ... 22 and from Eugene, Oregon. Drive a 03' Lanzer OZ. I'm a computer tech at a software company as my work and enjoy skateboarding in my free time.

Just wanted to say hey and hope to get to know some more of you NW guys.

Well, welcome to the board! My machine is Artemis, a yellow OZ with a few mods, more on the way. I have a day job but my passion is for blacksmithing, which I hope to turn into my "job" here in the near future. You should keep an eye on the Northwest section and try to come to some of the Team///Lancer NW meets. Steve and Jon are trying to get us sponsored- which is a good way to get first crack at parts, as well as discounts, admission to shows and exposure.

Take care!

Hey now. Give respect where respect is due. I am the one that got the ball rolling with ground zero. I did the foot work.

My bad- I mostly talk with Jon, so I'm not up on who called who first. To his credit he does use the pronoun "we" more often than "I" when discussing the sponsorship issue.
Any word on GroundZero's North Seattle contact/sister shop? It'd be nice to not have to drive to Portland for everything

No need to drive my man, well not you anyway, steve will. Anybody that wants parts in washington can have parts drop shipped in seattle or wherever your respective area is. Steve is who wants to go all out drag so he ofcourse would have to come down.

That's cool. Is there a thread about the sponsorship(s) yet? I'd like to be able to keep up on stuff like that if I can't make it to one of the meets.

Rolling along with the introductory note, I'm Jon - Supreme Commander for life of Team///Lancer NW.

Seriously though, that's as unofficial a title as there is. I just wanted to address some of our organizational issues, as far as being able to speak on the club's behalf. Plus, I think it will help immensly when talking with sponsors if we can say, this person's doing this, or our group membership is up to (insert number), whatever.

By no means am I trying to toot my own horn about me being a leader, nor am I trying to ****** the position before someone gets to it first. I just thought we could go for some more organization regarding our group as a whole, seeing as how we've got a pretty sizeable group of owners and I wanted to make sure we all stay on the same page.

We should discuss this further and see what the general consensus is. Like I said, I didn't mean to steal the position away.

Gotta run to class... Doh.

Ok. Back from class.

Brian, you definitely get all the props for setting up with Ground Zero. Hands down, you put it together man.

Can I please get some feedback on my dictatorship? I'd love to take on the responsibility.

Word, I'd defer to Brian if he opposes you, but unless there's a contender, you're it. Of course, I'm a demanding follower Can't wait to get a copy of the sponsorship agreement so we can see how much this lunch is gonna cost. We need member numbers. Can I have "000" since I'm never there
