It was good to see and meat all the Evo owners at PIR on Friday 27th.

 

It was nice seeing you there as well. It looks like you and I were the last EVOs to hang around. You have a nice lil RS on your hands there!!!

I have to take my EVO to PIR, everyone says that you run faster there (PIR 1200 feet elevation) than here at SIR(3075 feet elevationTucson).

Just an update, me and a couple of my friends ran our cars (all 05 EVOS).


Edwins EVO8 MR ran a few mid to high 13's before he settle to a 13.1@110, his mods:
HKS 264/264 Cams, Greddy Ti Cat-bacl, Works Downpipe,EBC, Custom Dynoflash tunning, HKS suction filter, upper intercooler piping,grounding kit, JDM BOV .

MY buddy Nate ran mids 14's at first then he woked his way down to a final 13.5@103. He has Cat back and Air filter.

I ran my EVO8 MR and got consistent 12.7(2 times)and 12.8(4 times), my trap speed are in the 105-107mph. Yesterday I ran one single time before the track close and ran a 12.661@105.80 (This is at SIR Tucson)

I ended up running a 13.1@104.9mph

 

Nice times from both "little" and "fromWRXtoEVO". I ended up leaving PIR at 11:30pm, I think little ended up closing the place out It was definitely nice seeing all the EVOs showing up at the track, next time no more EVO owners showing up as bystanders...you know who you are

My best time for the night ended up being 13.21 @ 102.16 with a 1.75 60 footer. Last time I got a 1.7 60' I ran a 12.9 with a higher trap speed...I guess I'm still a bad inconsistent driver or the temp had something to do with it.

Maybe we can get another gathering together soon?!?

My best was 13.5@111mph w/ a 2.36 60'. I was having some issues so my trap times were a little low.

 

I'd say were traps were awesome. 2.36 60', were you having some traction or boggin' issues?

I am bogging pretty bad, but at woodburn I was trapping at 111mph on pump. I went up to PIR on race gas and I was only trapping 111mph. I blew my intercooler line on the second run too. I had a boost leak at my gauge which didn't help either. When I blew my I/C line off, I thought for sure I had just gernaded my motor on my 30psi run .

 

^^^that would have freaked me out too! Good thing it was only your I/C line. Any reason why you're boggin so bad?
