^ suxs. portland is pretty bad if you arent sure of the main highways and roads. anyway, the rally should be on at 4-6 or something like that. geramny is where solberg almost died last year, and the mitsu team had a near fatal wreck as well. they drive through this army base, and there are tank guards to keep them on the asphalt. stick up about two feet from the ground, but the killer is they are buried like 8 ft under. they cancelled stages last year due to the wrecks, but it is the years first real tarmac event.

yeah seaside is pretty busy. we will see what today brings, seems to be questionable weather. my brother made the team, but they are probably playing in san antonio this season. there is also talk of selling the team to someone in los angeles. at least he is employed for 6 or 7 months. we went to oakland and watched on thursday night. good stuff.

 

hey richard- how long would it take you to drive to Forks, WA? it seems to be to the tip of the penninsula.

 

4 hours, not the tip of the penninsula. its up by neaha bay, or quilute river. if you think ilwaco is bad, check out forks.

sure has mellowed out around here. rod run is this weekend, should be crazy.

 

yeah, rod run should be good, i saw a couple around yesterday. richard- i thought it might be worth my while to drive to forks for evodave, but it doesnt seem that it is if it is that far from you. anyway, see ya.

 

i told him i got a buddy up there. it would take you 5 solid hours to get there.

 

mike is interested in going it seems. i still offered to go next week sometime. i dont have anything else to do, and the drive sounds nice.

 

rods are coming in by the trailer load- looks to be a good turnout. already seem some crazy stuff in town.

 

there are about 250 cars in town. i always watch this stupid a$$ show on speed called my classic car, and today i met the host. nice. there here doing a little bit of filming. some really nice stuff in town, and some not so nice stuff. i think they all cruise from 4-6 or something. i am worried i should put some duct tape on the windows of the restaurant so they dont shatter.

 

yeah its nuts over here. two more days and we have our town back.

saw two evos though, and a lame GC8 that kept reving @ me.

seriously though mike i got schooled on those damn break pads, (didnt come, never even shipped, at least i didnt pay for them yet) i think i will run anyways. we put a deposit on a new place in warrenton. it isnt as nice, but it is in the middle of nothing, and the landlord who lives on the other side is only there 1 night every 2 weeks or so. rent is 200 cheaper as well. if we got him the deposit we are locked in at a sale price for 6 months in case we want to buy it. gives us some time to test drive it, and see. i want to buy both sides, but we have some time to figure out the financing. we will def. be throwing a monster house warming party, cause we can and the neighbors wont care. nice.

on a better note, richard you decide about this auto X? mike did you get it worked out? i am shooting on leaving seaside by 10:30 or so on sunday morning. i am not sure where i am going, but we could all hook up somewhere and get lost together.

what up josh? the run home on 53 was bad *** yesterday huh. I thought i kept up ok since it was my first time lol. that sux about the pads but great news on the place **** now we'll be neighbors almost. sunday sounds good just stop by my house on the way out I'll be ready call me in the morning when you leave though. we'll cruise up together.
