oh yeah i was gonna ask, how did you all fair with the tsunami warning? did sirens go in ilwaco or astoria? ashumo arent you in the coast guard, and doesnt that mean your crazy a$$ has to stay behind. anyhoo, the evo did a great tsunami evacuation drill through gearhart.
yeah we got recalled, and only 8 of us made it in time. we were dressed out and ready to get underway, then "STAND DOWN" was piped. we were going to move all the boats that we could.
at the highest point around here, sahalle hill. i made it a point to stop by and grab the girls car on the way to the base. nuts though, about 15 cars parked up here, all pretty scared about it. 6cm of death.

power was out in downtown seaside today, casue some idiot hit in a cargo truck hit a pole between holladay drig and vern cook supply. we waited at work, but it never came on. i called and they said at least 2pm (it happened at about 9:15) once it came back on, i phoned the boss, and he told me not to worry about it. day off= nice. 5th of rum in the freezer if you guys wanna come over. see ya.

i got pulled over on sunday afternoon for passing in the bike lane. (three cars making left at the taco bell/KFC- si freaking went around them, it was gonna take 10 minutes if i didnt cause traffic was a bish) i even knew the cop. i told hime he shouldve been trying to bust some meth heads instead but he seemed content. bastards, i tell you.

^ lol. good point. too bad they dont make your guy's cities part of the "METH WATCH" program. then you could get huge signs on the way into town so even the tourist knew you had a meth problem. score 3 for the city of seaside.

hey i posted this in off topic, but last night i was at the gull in seaside, and who tells me "nice car" none other than matt leblanc (joey from friends) i didnt make a big deal of it, and told them (about 7 guys on bikes with him) "nice bike" and pretty much went on my way. it was easily the highlight of my day though.
I shoulda dropped in yesterday Josh, had 5 hours to kill so I drove out to Astoria, the fire dept. in Westport was doing a car wash, so I got it all clean, then stopped and took pictures at a couple places on the way out. I'll have to make plans and come out for an evening some weekend soon
