That is sad to see a wrecked evo! Looks like he had nice wheels on that. I had no idea that our car didn't have very good crash ratings. Or so I heard.

 

I was at Walker Mitsubishi today and saw that evo, and yes, it's totally *** up, sad to see.

OT: I also saw 06 Eclipse, pretty okay to me, but it's kinda huge.

DAMN! looked like my S4 after hitting a guard rail! Them things totally fck a car up!!!! Driver should be cool. HE lucky the damage didnt happen on his side of the car he would be? Ground MEAT.

Looks like another guy who thought the Evo was invincible.

 

The front and rear end crumple a lot to absorb the impact that would've hit us. Think about if the front or rear didnt crumple at all, where all the shock would go. The important part to look at is the chassis area where people sit. As long as that area maintains itself, safety is fine. Take a look at those pictures and look how well the actual seating area kept its shape.

another car crashed on Viaduct today, about 20 ft away from the accident of that Evo... and it was on the same lane and hit the guard rail too... creepy
