I've decided to SELL my 03 Silver Evo
Man it seems like it's not a good deal anymore. I thought those cars are like $7K-$8K or so. I would hate to renege since there's a deposit made already and he's suppose to get the rest of the $$ by Monday. I think I will re-consider this whole thing. I'm getting a lot of crap from my friends too.
renig...renig....renig....
if it's a party that you don't know, who cares if you do. if it's a friend, wasn't much of one to screw you like this....you don't need them..
as long as there is no written contract, give the car back and the cash....

lmao you shouldnt even have the evo.. Im glad you selling it. You thought a 93 civic was worth 7-8 grand and you only wanted 14 fer the evo... So 93 civic is worth 1/2 as much as your Evo is what you thought.... How many drugs do you do? Seriously if this isnt some kind of joke you are an absolute fool.

dont do it. if you do, I have some some great land for you to buy in FL. have you tried shaking the car? i mean rocking it good, too. if not, try that and see if it will crank or at least sound like it might. when you replaced the strater did you replace the flywheel too? my eclipse wouldn't start unless i shook the hech out of it, and it was my flywheel.
DO NOT DO IT!! NOT TO MAKE FUN of you but this would literally be the worst deal I have ever seen... You have a modded evo with like 11,000 miles on it.... and you want to sell it for 14.9 + a 2000 dollar civic???? Man, i don't even need another evo but if you are in such a rush to sell it I WILL give you more cash than that and go buy you a civic and turn around and make a profit... You could sell your evo and go buy an almost BRAND NEW civic and still have A LOT of cash left over.. back out of this deal NOW...
that is all

From a lawyer standpoint, any deal over a large amount of money (in this case, it applies) requires a written contract or it won't count. Unless you signed something with him he can't say you verbally agreed to it and it would hold in court. Done deal.
Thanks guys. Yeah, no written contract just a verbal one. In fact, the guy works in the same building as I do. We were going to do a bill of sale or something once he gets the rest of the money.
I'm giving his money back on Monday since he was not in today. I was sort of pressured into it and my lady HATES the EVO, maybe the word should be she DETEST the EVO and she likes the 93 Civic EX. She has been pressuring me to sell it for the longest time but I resisted. Thanks for your advise - I feel ignorant but smarter now at the same time.

i hate to tell you this.. but if it makes her and yourself happy then SELL the evo... but dont take ANYTHING less than AT LEAST 22k for it.. then with that cash you can go buy her all the 93 civic ex's in the world
dont listen to her, if my g/f asked me to sell me Evo and get a 93 civic I would dump her on the spot. That buddy that you sold the car to ****ing jacked you and you should be very mad that someone tried to play you for a fool. also dont let people other then yourself pressure you into deals that involve cars, you will always get the short end of the stick. and that guy was deffinently trying to take you for everything cuz you said that you had to throw in your V1, if anything he should of had to give up his V1 .
