I wouldnt dump my gf if we were serious. I mean if its just a fling then she wouldnt have any say in the first place. So I believe they are very serious as they are probably living together also. It would probably also be more conveniet because she would be able to drive it also.

no way. 14k+ a civic? bring ur car to the honda dealership and they probably give a brand new civic and then some money for the car. if he gives u ,say, another 5 or 6 k then go for it.

 

I just showed my gf this civic and she thinks it's hideous. Hope you get your money back from this deal. BTW my gf says you're better off keeping the EVO, no point in downgrading from a 4 door to a 2 door. I love her logic!

 

Get your Evo back and sell it for $23,500 at least Private party. You dont deserve the Evo anymore.

 

hehe... I'm not worthy... bow.. I've worked it out. Not selling it. There's a long history of dispute involving my lady and this car. We've been together for many years and I shouldn't buy big ticket items w/o her permission but I do it all the time. I sold her favorite M3 w/o her permission and bought a truck while she was at work. Bought myself an R1 w/o consulting her... she would've not mind if I had asked first (at least she said). Bought the Evo when she was out of town visiting her family after she told me that I wasn't buying it. Since that day she detests the car with a passion.

Lesson learnt! hhehehe

Sorry, those are the only tail lights I have and I like them better than stock. I have a free bumper support though. It's still good! You never know when somebody will hit you.

Now I can only buy nickel and dime stuff... items under $1K w/o her permission and I get away with it. I had to piece meal my upgrades the past couple years... I'm going to get a new intercooler and piping for it next month or the month after now I'm going to keep it.

Another thing to not do is bring up the "I make the money so I should be able to buy whatever and whenever I want to." I did that only once and never again will it come up. For those who has done it, you know what I mean.

she just jealous of your real numeber one girl. who could detest the evo, she must be doing it out of spite. i guess it would be fair though, considering you got rid of her car(eye for an eye). imho, and i live with my gf for a year now, i would give her the boot for thinking of the idea. there are millions of women and only a few thousand evos in the us, and even less with those mods and color.
