Primitive Racing Rally Performance Driving School Sept 23-25th

Informational thread regarding this event.

all the info: *click here for all of the details regaring this driving school

Who: Open to all licensed drivers, at all levels of rally and driving experience, with emphasis on BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE levels.

What: Three days of instruction starting with 5-6 hours of classroom training on Friday night (approx 5pm-10:15pm) with short breakout sections for experienced sections and another for beginning navigators. TSD Rally (Time/Speed/Distance) and driving exercises on Saturday with a full RallyCross competition on Sunday.

When: Friday 9/23/05 (4:45-10:15pm) Tigard Fire Station located at 8935 SW Burnham Road (just west of Hall Blvd) Saturday 9/24/05 (8:00am-5:30pm) Driving School at Fairgrounds 9500 SE Cornell Rd in Hillsboro Sunday 9/25/05 (8am-5pm) Oregon Rally Group --RallyCross (morning or afternoon session)

Where: Classroom session at Fire Station #51 in Tigard, all driving at Washington County Fairgrounds, Hillsboro (~ 15 miles west of Portland) across from Hillsboro Airport.

^ i remember the pictures. looked like a blast. there was another portland area guy that went to the last one as well. he said it was a great time.

do they give you a car to use or do you use your own car?

You use your own car. The classes are taught by Paul Eklund. If you haven't heard of him, check the Pro Rally results from the past few years.

Paul is an awesome guy! Up till last week his house was actually in my delivery area (I drive for FedEx,but took a new route). Got to stop one day and talk with him, he invited me out to the rally school, and that day was working on the 'rental' that they will have available. And as usual, I was able to drool a little more over that sweet yellow Rex! Check out his teams site at www.get-primitive.com

sorry man, can't recall, but I know it was pretty damn cheap. I remember being shocked at how cheap it was, just can't remember the dollar amount

Way under ^ i think last time it was around 35-40 or so. not positive though. dont forget to tip the car wash guy when you go hose that crap of your car though.
