Whos Going? I'd like to join

 

I think I'm going to go on Sunday since I already have plans on Saturday.

 

So, three of us including me? That's it? Come on guys, I swear you'll love it. Best of all, you'll sharpen you're driving skills.

Maybe we'll even get some rain. If that happens, the course will be ours(& the Subies) for the taking!

How Much Is It Gonna Be And For How Long?

 

It's $30 a session for non-SCCA members. There is a morning session and an afternoon session each day. For more details, click on the links at the beginning of the thread.

 

Ok, So Where And When We Meet To Go There?

 

I can't meet up before hand because I'm going to be there very early in the morning(6:30am) to help setup. If you guys don't end up meeting somewhere, all you have to do is go through the PIR main gate and follow the "autocross" signs. You'll come up to a gate at the halfway mark of the front straight. Most of the time there is somebody manning the gate that will open it for you when it's clear so you can cross to the infield. I'll have my phone on me. PM me if you want my number.

It was a pretty good event today. The morning session got 6 runs and the afternoon session got 5. The course was about ~50 seconds long. It contained a lot of different variations of slaloms and some sweepers. The course was very tough to get through clean(w/o hitting cones). I hit cones on all three of my competition runs. That shot my chances at a good placing down the tubes. Oh well, tomorrow's a clean slate. I got a peek at tomorrow's course. It is quite different from today's and looks fun. Hope to see a few of you there.

it was supposed to be a PM to you about some various auto X stuff, but i somehow (still not sure how) posted it in the thread. so i deleted it. i will re-send you the pm when i get a chance to retype. sounds like you guys had a blast. do SCCA auto x's run rain or shine?

 

anyone know anything about what happened. all i heard was evo and courseworker came together. everyone i guess came out safely, but that is crazy. was anyone on the boards involved? i heard it happened in afternoon runs on sunday at PIR. lemme know. thanks
