PDXtuning and torquefreaks are both in the area....I've chatted with both, and both know their stuff! PDXtuning sticks mostly with Subies, so you know they know turbo AWD cars well. And I've heard great things about torquefreaks AEM EMS tuning...
PM PDXEvo on this site and ask him about his experiences w/ PDXtuning. That should be enough to scare you away. Torque Freaks seems to know what there doing, but haven't done too much work on EVO's. IMHO, I wouldn't take my car to any tuner shop in Oregon that doesn't specialize in Evo's.

Odd....
I haven't dealt with them personally, but have heard good things about them.
I've been considering getting my car tuned by them. Has anyone else had bad experiences with them??

most of my parts i got them from race dezing in beaverton, and so far i am happy with the reasults my friend paul hamit claude jose and some others have taken their evos there, and i hyave not heard any complain about it,but also gonna try torque freaks about tunning and see what is up,speed crap....oops i mean speed concept hey only care o sell you parts, they do not care if is good or bad for you car also very bad customer service!!!!i only shop there when i need urgent parts like shift knob or pedals, but is up tp you,but if you go to race dezing ask for fred roman and just tell him cesar sent you he will help you out!

edit- i have emailed them before about a utec, and the deal they were willing to work was definately a good one. i was also told that they would have no problem tuning it at matrix.
i have heard also that kelly at perfection motorsports is a perfectionist, and you pay for it, but as far as tuning a stand alone, or a utec, he is really, really good. and he has a super nice dyno.
