PIR track day

Hey Bruce I think I saw your name on the list signed up with the Audi club, was that you? I'm heading down for the Saturday only, just signed up. I need to spend some time making sure the car is track worthy again after the turbo install...hopefully nothing breaks. Probably going to trailer it down and just assume that something will go wrong than to be stuck looking for a tow.

Cool, I'm bringing down a bunch of tools. Let me know if you need to use any. Any other Portland area people showing up?

you know Kyle it's looking a little wet for an old man to make the trip. unless the rain chance drops below 50% I'm thinking of actually doing some of those honeydos around the house.

Poor Kyle, moderate to heavy rain on the weather radar. Although there is a little hole in the rain down around corn valley.

It was a wet one fore sure. Had one dry session in the morning, then heavy downpour for the reamaining sessions. The car held up just fine after the turbo install which was nice not to have to worry about. I took it easy the first few sessions just to make sure everything was good. I also hired Randy Pobst (2003 Speed World Challenge Champion) for the day and got some good instruction as well observing what he did differently driving my car around the track. Definitely a good experience. Turns out the KDW2's didn't do all that great in the rain, at least for tracking they weren't very progressive and didn't offer a lot of grip compared to other brands. Anyway, looking forward to the next track day...hopefully very soon!

Hey Kyle,

It was good to see you guys again. The car looks and sounds like it will be super fast when it is all dialed in. The rain was a bit of a bummer i was running the AVS ES 100 they worked well braking but everything else was bad news. Wish you guys were closer I'd love to have you guys turn some wrenches on my EVO.
