You know better than anybody about being in the back because your usually in my rearview. I'm ready play in the snow yet being safe doing it. :P

 

i cant tell if you are being sarcastic, or what. i am running falkens that are cut out for light snow and ice, and thats what i am looking to find. it could get ugly with the advans, but there doesnt seem to be many people running with them still.

 

chalk one up for me.. i'm still running them.. and I plan to till they wear out.. it sould be some serious fun..

 

last year i ordered wheels and tires in december and they didnt get to me unil feb. granted i didnt do alot of snow stuff, but i had them in light ice more than once, and they were bald. werent bad in town but i had to drive it to portland a couple of times, and it was scary.

 

I am being sarcastic. I drove once in the snow, on Advans, and got about 100 yards from my house before I was sliding off the road. My neighbor had to use his tractor to pull me off the grass and snow because I had no traction.

You couldn't pay me enough money to drive an EVO in snow or ice w/ Advans.

 

: I have been up to the snow a couple of times this year already!! So much fun!! and BTW...Yes those are Advans. Not the best in snow but they do ok in the slush ! I would recomend everyone running snow/traction tires if they want to go on a group run to the snow!

 

Hey all, Sorry Josh, I cant drive this run, front wheel drive oz in snow, not a good idea. Maybe I can ride though! let me know!

 

Stud up those front wheels and hang out in the back with me. I use to play in the snow with my front wheel drive eclipse all the time. Heck I drove it to go snowboarding all the time no problem as long as you know the limits of your car in the snow. Then again I spent most of my driving career in the northern tier states where it snows 7-9 months out of the year...fun times.

 

J DOG IS right! i use to have a lancer 2003 ES!! and i sure have fun in the snow with it, can't wait for the snow to come now that i have and EVO.

 

anyone know the mt hood area really well, cause it seems that is the only thing stopping us now. i am not really familiar with it. we need a route, and i can get us some maps printed up. oh yeah, and a for sure date.

 

I know the way up to Timberline, Meadows and how to go through it to go to Bachelor and that's it. Do it pretty much every weekend during the peak season of winter for snowboarding. That's all I have to offer, hopefully someone in that area has much better knowledge of the area.
