Question HELP: NW Washington Performance shops??

Forgive me if this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find anything about it with a search..........

I am new to the area (live in Federal Way, work downtown Seattle) and I was just curious if any of you guys have a recomendation for any good PERFORMANCE auto parts store in Washington. I am willing to drive almost anywhere in western Washington I am mostly trying to find a store that has a decent in-store inventory! (I have no patience ) Also, are there any tuning shops around here with EVO knowledge?? I might be a retard but I just don't seem to be able to find any shops or decent stores on the forums or internet....

Nick is a great tuner and very knowledgable. He's on here as NDgsx. I believe he has his business license now....can't go wrong with him and you'll get a more personal touch. He's been racing and building DSMs and working on Evo's for quite some time now.

I gotta say I am super impressed with this shop!! This is a great place to go. The owner Cody is very imformative and there to earn your biz. This is no ricer boy hangout and Cody works hard to answer all your questions. They also do custom fabrication work. I am going to have them do quite a bit of custom work for me. I highly recomend this shop. Tell him you found his shop on EvoM

Run away. I've worked on cars that they have serviced. Complete and total hackjobs on what *I personally saw*. They left the washer out beneath the castele nut on the passenger side of a DSM. It took out the wheel bearing, brake rotor, and brake caliper. It was missing two of the 4 bolts that hold the tranny to the block. They didn't catch the leaking slave cylinder. They did not adjust the clutch.
They put a 6 bolt JDM engine in a 2G and convinced the owner to buy a venom intake manifold for an otherwise stock car. The engine was off a GVR4 so the thermostat housing did not have a cap on it (galants are on the radiator, DSMs are on the thermostat housing). Rather than picking up a US TEL housing they made him buy a radiator hose adaptor piece for a cap, which ended up not being in the highest location, making it near impossible to get all the air bubbles out, aside from looking like crap.
If you want neon or some cosmetic junk they might be able to help you, leave your real service and parts suggestion to competent mechanics.

For service work you can add me to the list. I service all makes and models, but I mostly work on the good old 4G63. Everything is only by appointment.

You figure w/ a name like "Xtreme Auto Salon" would be enough for most EVO owners to stay away .

I know Lucas it getting a new shop so Im not sure of the address, but you can find his number on the site and hes located out of Washougal Washington. He was always helpful when I was modding my dsm. He would go out of his way to find the best part for the job and took time out of his personal life if I had problems.

If your in N Washington then Nick is the way to go, if S Washington or Portland area then I recommend Lucas English. I know both these guys personally and they both are very knowledgable and nice guys.

yeah uhm

if the name doesn't scare you away, the fact that they have a "if it aint a type r it aint a tight car" banner should get you running
