Thanks for the kind words. We strive hard to have both a working relationship with our competition, and our customers. This plus continuing to push the limits of this industry to make horsepower more attainable and understood.

Just today PDX tuning was here doing some tuning on our dyno, and have done a couple of sessions on some weekends in the past. They are a excellent group of guys who still hold the subaru record here at torquefreaks!

In any event I would like to know if we are hosting this event. If so, I need to add it to our calendar so we can keep it reserved for you folks. Either way as a group a decision needs to be made and then move forward with getting deposits etc. (or whatever else your facilitator needs to get done)

If this stays on the 15/16 of April, I am in for a custom flash on the 15th. It makes no difference to me where the tunning will be done. Is this still taking place at PDX? I will call Al Monday and pay my 100 dollar deposit.

 

you can still do it in april but there is some of us that want to do it earlier. I talked to Al and he can comes as early as the second week of March. So if there are 5 people who are interested please add your name to this list or pm me. Once we get five I'll tell Al that way we can send him deposits. I think we'll do it at torquefreaks if thats ok with the other 4 guys. You can get your base flash then to if you want to.
we can do it on any of these dates march 11, 12, 18, and the 19th. So Pm what will work out for you.

You have to be ****ing kidding me what part of he will do it twice don't you get. Maybe math isn't your stong point but this is how Al makes his money. He makes about $2000 a day in tuning and $4000 in a weakend. I'll break it down for you 5 people at $375 is $1875 throw in a few base flashes which take all of 10 minutes and your well over $2000 dollars. So why wouldn't he come back. We have over 12 people interested in a custom flash and since you didn't read everything he can only do 6 in 1 day so that means that a few people might miss out so I figure lets have him come in March for the people who wanted it early and then in April for the rest. He hasn't said it would be a problem at all. As you can tell I'm getting a little bit irrated by now if it isn't one thing it's another. Who cares about who has money and who doesn't. Yeah it is nice to have money but who gives a ****. I can't make any decisions everyone has something to say every time I do so I wont bother anymore.

 

Dude, calm down. I realized I made a mistake posting that and deleted it the best I could ( hence my post with the two ,, marks). I don't even know how you were able to quote that. Everything's cool. I posted again asking if Al was comming twice just to make sure I understood. Sorry, but this has been a bit confusing for me. The only post I read on here from Al said he was comming down April 15/16 at PDX. I read no other post from Al saying he was comming twice. BTW, I did read that he can only do 6 in 1 day. I was under the assumption that Al already had April 15/16 at PDX set in stone and that if he was to change the date to March the April dates would be deleted. I also assumed he would only make one trip to the Northwest. After I posted that little venting I did - I realized I was wrong and erased it. I did'nt think it through before writting that and after I did I realized what an a#$ I was. I thought I erased the post in time before anyone got a chance to read it - guess I did'nt.

BTW for 9 pages of this thread April 15/16 was the dates. It was not untill the 10th page that early March was brought up. In Al's post he did not say anything about coming here twice. He had one weekend visit. Look, I'll just shut up now and wait for an actual post from Al saying when and where the trip(s) will be.
