anyone interested in a dynoflash in portland area
Please add me to the list for a custom tune. Usually nothing is final until Al chimes in on this thread and says he bought tickets and talked to the host. Looking forward to it guys.
We will match the $35 with air fuel included. Sorry I didn't reply sooner but my account had to be "approved" before I could post. Let me know if your group wants to do it at Torquefreaks.

So far the dates are the 15 and the 16 but with this amount of people we might have to add the 14. Al can only do 6 a day since it takes 2 hours I just spoke with him and he's gonna start a new thread with time slots but only for the 15 and 16 unless we get more and he feels like doing more
For those of you that know the area, is there more open road for road tuning at torque freaks or the other facility? I'm most interested in torque freaks if the surrounding area is accomodating to Al's tuning methods. Despite whatever happened at the last dynoflash day at worldone, the area was perfect for Al's road tuning. can anyone from portland that made it to worldone that day compare?
i know the area that is around pdxtuning well, and we shouldnt have a problem. they sit perfectely around 2 exits to I-5 and have other access roads that should be no problem. ^
Road Tuning....hmmm we have:
Marine Drive- No stop lights..good for drivability
Airport Way - Stop lights..good to test for accel/decel drivability
I-84 - For boost tuning
And you don't even have to remove your wheel. Also, Dyno Jet numbers are the benchmark standard for the industry.
As for my motivation for offering this killer deal to you folks. Because we have the AWD dyno and would like to promote it to that market, and we have upgraded our facilities here @ Torquefreaks and would like people to come check out the shop.
I may have been a bit slow on the draw with being active in the forums, but I certianly thought of this segment of the market (AWD) by investing in our AWD dyno. I sincerely hope that the event is at our shop. Getting the word out about the AWD dyno is a bit faster when folks with AWD cars have been on it!
Also, Torquefreaks does not charge more for AWD cars, even with our normal dyno rates. I have always felt that was always BS to pay more. Well anyhow off the soap box. Peace!

I can vouch for the guys at torque freaks, i had my car dynoed there. It is nice to see the guys get involved with you when they dyno your car, they were very interactive with me and if that is how they are on a day to day basis, then i am sold. I have no experience with the other shop. TF also answered all of my questions while was waiting for the dyno and offered some valuable suggestion and basically just shot the BS with ya. I just wished i lived in portland to take more advantage of there facility. I cannot remember the two guys that was doing my dyno, but they were a couple of awesome guys.
Just trying to help, after the experience at World One for all of you guys who were there, it is nice to have a shop back you up in case anything happens while you are getting tuned.
