i like the sound of the greddy evo II, invidia, and baschur. (nothing will sound as good as my old wagon though....im just a sucker for the flat-four)

dont know who owned it but the silver evo @ mountain mitsi on monday sounded really good.

Yah, It is the one thing I get tired of on forums. People are here to learn and there are certain questions people will ask alot, but, After those "certain" people have been around too long they get so tired and would rather just talk crap to the NooBs. It will always be that way. There is an endless source of Noobs. Oh well, Thanks for the help guys! I really do appreciate it!

P.S. anybody know of anybody in the area running the Works or Buschur setup? Kinda surprised to not hear from somebody in the area yet!

I am in Seattle too. I have an IX MR, and put an Espelir JGT500R cat-back on a couple weeks back. I was going to put up some sound clips, but haven't had time. Anytime you want to come check it out and hear the exhaust let me know. It will have to be after this Tuesday though, as I will not have my ECU back from Al at Dynoflash until then.

Buschur's new exhaust is looking awesome.....and for $699 shipped right now....you can't beat that. If I could take a step back in time this is what I would get (and beleive me I've had a few exhauts now, and learned my lesson). For the price, the fit, the look, the sound, and overall good vendor, this is the one to get IMO.

I run the full Buschur Tb with test pipe and magnaflow muffler. Although i have only heard a few exhausts, I love this set-up. If you are ever around the tricities let me know. I have cams as well so that affects it a little as well.

I would love to hear your setup! That is exactly the setup I would get if I go the Buschur route which seems to be way more cost effective.
Where are the tricities? I think they are in eastern Washington. Do you know how far a drive it is from Seattle area?

Edit: You said you run the Test pipe so I was just going to point out that your sig needs to be updated!

I also run the full Buschur TB with test pipe and magnaflow muffler. I agree the sound is just right for the Seattle area. I might be a little closer now that I live in the Bellevue area. I went through the same delema you did, so I feel your pain. PM me and we'll meet up somewhere. I have nothing but good things to say about my exhaust.

I'm runnin the HorsepowerFreaks 3.5" catback exhaust with a works downpipe and a perrin test pipe its a little loud cruising around but I haven't put the stock cat back in I think that'll quiet it down a little. At full throttle the thing sounds mean though.

I hear the Buschur setup is good, but one thing I don’t care for is the way it looks. The muffler is pushed back too far from the exit pipe. When looking at the car from behind all you can see is the exit pipe (no muffler canister). Looks very strange. I guess if esthetics don’t concern you this wont be an issue...

Glad to hear it's working well for you! If anybody wants to hear our exhaust just give me notice so I can drive the car to work, or just check the exhaust thread in my signature for a video (on page 4 I believe). My car is going to fabrication to finalize the 3.5" downpipe tomorrow so we'll have full 3.5" turbo-backs in stock within the week.

anyone check out the new turbo & HT magazine, they did a evo VIII exhaust shoutout on 12 brands out there, the results are really intresting, i wish more of the manufacturers on here (HPF, BR, WORKS, AMS, ect ect) were invited to join the shootouts.

So I'm looking at picking up a few things for my MR, and I was seriously considering that WarrTalon/Buschur stage 1 package which happens to include the Buschur TBE. My only real concern with picking up this package is how the exhaust is going to sound so I went searching on our regional forums to see if there was anyone who might have one of the BR TBE's and came across this thread.

I realize it's been, well, close to 10 months since the last post in this thread but I was curious to see who would have a BR TBE locally and what they thought of it. Soundwise, I would like to be able to have something that's pretty close to stock while still providing a decent amount of power. I'm really not that interested in something that is loud and likely to draw undue attention from LEO.

I live in the Seattle area and would like to listen to this TBE in person before actually picking up this system. I would be willing to drive to just about anywhere in Washington/Portland to do so, just let me know.

Any info/help would be appreciated.

ps. If there are any guidelines as to when a thread is officially considered "dead", feel free to let me know so I'm not resurrecting a number of long silent threads.
