you can always get a diff turbo, and add mivec (so ive been told), all that money u got invested id go for a house, the IX is the last car i buy till i get a house and get back on track, then i wanna see if i can get one of those awesome expensive skylines i wont ever be able to afford unless i wanna live in a box.

Ryan, don't do it unless you bring your car completely back to stock and sell off the mods. Even then you'll be right back to paying off the depreciation of the IX coming off the lot. What is your goal for your car that IX does and your VIII won't?

 

im not sure on the exact details, this was discussed before on a IX Topic. you can try a search, i think shiv said it can be done but im not 100% positive that its a head swap away.

 

I traded an 03 VIII for an 05 VIII my pament went up alittle but i did get the leather and the 10yr/100000 mile warranty LOL !!!

I agree on waiting.....if they keep the X (which im not having much faith after seeing the Eclipse) the way it looks now, ill get the X MR.......

As far as deals, well i got my 03 VIII for 27000, Steve gave me 3100, and i took home my MR......now it might not be as fast as all of yours, but im workin on it.....kinda hard with all my deployments and such.......

I have decided I will NOT trade in for the 2006 MR. Did some thinking and determined that its not worth it. Plus I saw the "secret" paper with the price that I would have to pay!!!! I wont post it so dont ask. Put it this way, if I paid that much for a car I would buy an M3 or something. LOL
