Went To PIR On Sat. New best time for me!!

New Best time for me!!!! 12.24 @ 109w/a 1.78 60, and 12.29 @ 112 w/a 1.89 60.... I am VERY HAPPY and excited because of the dissapointment i had on the dyno, i only dynoed 316 last weekend and felt horrible. Oh BTW, this was on 1/2 tank of good 'ol 92 OCT! that's right, no race gas mixed in. I am at my parent's house right now, I recently moved and don't have internet yet so the slips aren't with me. Ceasar can atest to this and so can a couple of other fellow evo's that were out that night. I will be going again next weekend if the weather is good and will take out my spare, have less gas and maybe turn up boost to 22/23lbs and see if i can hit the 11's. 11's were my goal since i first got this car so it is amazing that i am soooo close with just reg boltons: Aem Intake; Perrin DP; Perrin Test Pipe; Greddy TI exhaust; hks 272s; Perrin MBC@21psi;and al's famous custom tune. YAY!!!! i will post up slips as soon as i can. peace

PS: Turbo junkie, what should i do, my 4th hits rev limiter about 50-60 feet from the finish, i got my 12.24 when i shifted to 5( i think this run could have been a 12.0 or under if i would have just hit rev and kept on it due to my 1.78 60. i wish i could have got a couple more runs in but my buddy that was with had to go so i left wit him.

thx dude, i was totaly surprised, i ran 13.0, and 13.4 my first 2 runs (i kept missing 4th for..idiot) I then paced myself and grabed 4th and ran a 12.5. with a 2.2 60. so i knew i was capable of more, the next to runs were the 12.29 and then the 12.24. yay.

O, sorry i had to take off, i wish i could have stayed to watch you guys run too, what were ur times?

Not as impressive as yours. Cesar and I both only managed a 13.1...I'm running really rich. The drop on your ride looks good too!

Congrats, im guessing you have a MR since your hitting the rev limiter, is your rev limit stock? I know my rev limiter at 7600 hits just a little bit after the 1/4 and a trap 108.

Sorry I missed your 12.24 but awesome time! We showed up late, around 9:30ish. I was thinking about running but my stock clutch is really hating life at this point and I'm sure I'd just be disappointed. Cesar, you were the red light bandit last night, lol. Both of you guys were getting so close to 12s, we were hanging late in hopes to see it! I'll be out playing soon I hope.

Tom

No, not an MR! It's just a plain GSR. I think Al raised my rev to 7800

The finishing lines may not be clearly marked or you think the finish line is farther down the track. I'm not too familiar w/ PIR.
