April 22nd Oregon->Washington drive

Hey All,

The weather has been giving me the bug to do a cruise. I am an avid motorcycle rider and thought it would be fun to take one of my favorite routes through Oregon and into Washington on a ferry. The drive would take about 4 hours to complete (ending back in Hillsboro) and is a real blast! The roads are full of curves and the scenary is breath taking. Although, you may not have much time to look out the windows with all the turns we will hit

Due to the run involving a ferry, the groups will get split up. I think the ferry can only hold 6, or so cars, at once. There is a cafe just on the other side of the ferry though, so we can all meet up there and eat our respective lunches and just hang out for a bit, until everyone catches up. For you seaside guys, this run ends in Astoria, but for those that want to head back we will take an awesome cruise through some Jewel twisties.

I would not reccomend comming if you have your snow tires on, as the roads have some very sharp turns. I also wouldnt show up if you are interested in going too fast around sharp corners. Granted its usually the Subarus that wreck, I would really like to avoid any incidences.

Current plan is to meet at the Hillsboro Fred Meyers (Just off HWY 26 at the Cornelius Pass Road exit) at 9:00am, Saturday Morning, April 22nd. Let me know if you are in, and JJ_008, you better be there!

"ship in" is probably a better, and more realistic, then chip in these days. Maybe we can just get a gas tanker to follow us around, and we can refuel while we are driving, fighter jet style

I won't be making it. I had a little wiring mishap w/ the EVO and I have a scooter meet to attend to that day.

Yep, its still on! Not sure how big the group is going to be yet. Even if we only have <10 cars, I will still be going on the run! See you there!!
