May 21 (Drive to MT. ST. Helens)

Thinking of having another drive to Mt St Helens on Sunday May 21. We would be starting from my house( changed to Chehalis Wallmart) in Chehalis and taking back roads all the way to the mountain. We did this drive last year and it was alot of fun. I figure that people from up north and down south could attend. My house is half way point from Seattle to Porltland. The drive dosnt take that long so we could meet at my house afterwords for a BBQ. I will post the directioins soon. I am going to scout the drive and find some cool roads to drive on. What do you think?Everett

Well meet time has been set. Try to be at Chehalis Wallmart exit 79 off of I-5 around 10:00 a.m so we leave by 10:30 a.m.. The drive should take 3 hours round trip + 1 hour to stop at the mountain to check it out. PM me for address or call me (360) 880-6749. I know their are a couple groups meeting both North and South to caravan down to the meeting point.

Glad that people are showing interest. Some time this week I will go scout out the final route. It should be alot of fun and the weather should be OK. Dont forget BBQ aferwards. Bring something to grill and a side dish to share.
