I have to do a power steering flush....I bought Redline power steering fluid. There's a guy on this forum who SWEARS that we MUST use Diamond ATF power steering fluid for our cars.

Is that correct? Or can we use any power steering fluid?

I thought I'd ask you guys, since everyone in this region seems to be pretty knowledgable. I heard the Redline stuff is REALLY GOOD, so I thought it might be ok for power steering?

the only fluid in my car is redline and i can tell you that i havent had anyproblems other then people chastizing me on here for using redline. just call up redline and asking them if there is any special mix for a lancer or anything. they will set you straight
