its not worth it to me to mess with my ecu and i wouldnt have the slightest idea were to start ..derick there tuner is very good at tunning and after watching him run thru the ecu software and playing with the maps and timing and fuel ratio and being able to put it on a dyno and work with it is the only way to go in my opinon.

The new openecu is a awesome tuner product. Works exceptionally well. The guys who developed it deserve great praise, and some donations too. This is a market transforming product, no doubt in my mind.

Torquefreaks can now offer low cost ($150/hr, 1-2 hours) custom EVO8 reflashes on our AWD dyno with a wideband O2 tune and reading. 1000RPM idle (fixes lope on upgraded cams), any redline, boost cut removal, any launch RPM, all included if desired.

Before you ask, we will be doing EVO9s the instant the software supports it.

We also offer $300 methanol/water injection kits (+installation). Those of you with turbo upgrades...there is big power to be gained with 25-30psi boost levels on the street all the time, with more ignition advance. Get the injection system before a reflash so the tune works optimally with the injection.

As always, we can install whatever clutch, turbo, intercooler, fuel injectors, etc you want before you get it tuned.

Before the moderators clobber this message...........we are going to purchase vendor status shortly.

Thanks,
Derek

guys, this will obviously work with the dyno flash software corrrect? i believe that is what paul had. pm me a price on the meth kit installed with a tune for a gt35r evo. how aggreasive is pauls car tuned? i assume its tuned with 0 knock. allot of guys can get away with 22-22.5 psi on a flash. anyway sounds like great things are coming for the local cats now you offer this. thanx

12:1 AFR at 3500 where the boost hit seems a little agressive to me on 92 oct.

The only true way to tell, would be to log it.

I listen to the engine with a stethoscope to hear any knock. There was none.

BTW, his flash from Al was another .5 leaner when boost hit than my tune was.

So my question is how much of a gain would this be over another tuners mail in flash? My AFRs at WOT are 10 flat right now with the mail in flash...

Its gonna be just like getting custom dynoflash. Your base flash is set way safe because of the various variables on different cars. 10flat is pretty damn rich though, Im suprised its that rich.

^^I always figured I was running pretty rich but didn't realize how rich until I hooked up the wideband. I'd rather run rich than lean though... I've been waiting to get a custom tune for awhile to lean it out a little more but conflicting schedules never allowed me to jump in on one so this local tuning may be the answer for me.
