Yeah i dont really even know how, its suck i only have 6000 miles on it and its going FAST, only been to the track once and only launched from about 4500-5000 rpm range and close to 3000 of those miles are freeway and i DONT ride my clutch. I guess I am just a bad driver...I guess I got to learn sometime

Ok on the Evo 9 to clear the air. As SOON as it becomes available for the flash software we are using, we will support it. I beleive as it stands now you are able to download your map but not able to do maniplations on an evo 9.

Any previous conversations were regarding another type of software that was previously available and heres the quick figures.

Around 2 grand for the evo 8 specific software
Around 6 grand for the evo 9 specific software

However this no longer applies since we are going another route as Derek mentioned previously.

Oh Cesar, you just need to give TF a call and get a slot time with Matt. He handles all the dyno appts.

Don't feel too bad about it. Its pretty common to see these stock clutches go out. We are usually doing 1 every week it seems.

Hell, after market clutches aren't holding up much better either on these cars. Oh well, great to see another tuning option, and full service shop.

yes and I highly remember recommending a "break in" of the clutch too!!!! Remember 500 miles is key to get it properly broken in. I seemed to forget that when you left...prob too many brew haus

I have a ACT clutch, that comes with the Exedy single pad material. I have put 15k miles on this clutch, and have over 100 launches on it. Still runs just fine! I wouldnt buy this particular clutch again though. The preassure plate is insanely stiff, and I had to move the clutch pedal all the way out to stop it from locking me out of gears at high RPM's once it got hot.

Glad to here tqf is doing some tuning now. The opensource software is pretty good. Ill have to swing by soon and check it out.

Just got back from Torque Freaks. Good times. At 1.37 bar max boost (basically just over stock boost), my car baselined at 234hp/257tq peak. After some reflashes, it got 271hp/253tq peak. That doesn't really tell even part of the story though. Torque and horsepower are both way up after 5K rpm. There is one data point where HP is about 60 more than stock.

This was all on 92 octane. My only power mods are 3" turbo-back exhaust, boost controller, and Walbro 255lph fuel pump (bought and installed on sight just to be safe). This was also a really conservatice tune just as I asked, with AFRs around 11.2 and timing only slightly advanced. Someone from Torque Freaks might post my dyno sheet here as I gave them permission to do so.

All in all, good times. It only took them ~1 hour to do all the tuning. I believe this was due to both professional tuning skills on their part, and not rolling in with a pieced together $hitb0x on my part

there was an overall gain in torque, it's just that the baseline had a spike at its peak. now that the dyno graph is posted you can see what i mean.

You could definitely get more torque out of that between 3k and 5k if you wanted too. With the stock cams its pretty easy to keep the TQ and HP numbers about equal. The only importent thing is that you are happy with the car though!

I'm more than happy with my tune. I'm aware there is probably lots more power to be had, but I wanted a conservative tune for road course work.
