You will end up getting as much seat time as you can handle, when I went there a couple years ago we had a drivers meeting which pretty much consisted of nothing but going over the hand signs, then they said go have fun until 4pm. I spent over $150 in gas (this was in 03 when it was cheap) by 2pm and called it quits. You get a LOT of time on the track.
I'd be in for the July 21st
I know Scott, he is a great guy, but will grill you on your track experance! IMHO, Spokane is NOT a place to learn on, it's a tough track.
Yes, you can can do many, many miles on it, but, you are 300mi from home! So, bring spare tires & brakes! TRUST me on this! My BMW friends & I have privatly rented a track quite a few times, and my last time out I went threw BRAND new R compound rubber in one day! I did about 250mi that day. But I was ruined for the second, due to me only having my street tires.
It is in the desert! Bring sun screen, some kind of easy up, and a chair. Don't forget WATER! Just hanging out there can beat you up, never mind driving.
The track is SUPER FUN! It's also has a 2/3mi front straight! So you will be going way, way fast! There is also no good run off any where on the track, so if you go off course, your screwed. Lastly, there are a lot of bumps on the track, I run about 25% lower spring rates over PIR.

spongebob,
didn't see you there.
the weather was great till about 1:30, then it would rain just often enough to keep the track wet.
pretty good time, had a small issue with my WI but it sure is nice being able to get on and off the track when you want.
love to do it again but it is a long ways for an old fella.

I did not realize anyone was coming out; otherwise I would have made a better attempt to get out of work. Unfortunately work sometimes take priority even after projecting vacation months in advance, oh well. Sorry to have missed you.

oh btw, a guy from Alberta was there in a BMW with a corvette motor. real professional job.
500 to the wheels, 100 lb less motor weight and it sits farther back too.
Guess Adair is going to do the same to another bmw. Must be a clever deal.
So many neat cars, so little money.
