Looking To Buy A New EVO IX MR
I am looking to buy a new EVO IX MR within the next couple of months. I live in the Portland area and know who all of the dealers are. Who has a good story to tell about their buying experience with one of the locals? Can I get one at or near the So Cal price of $32999? Also, what options can I pass on as I plan on immediately doing some modding.
Yeah That sounds like a good price. I got mine at 35 but it has the zero lift kit which I believe is extra (maybe not) and you probably only need the base MR package. The base package has all the stuff you need anyways.
Do you have a red IX MR?
While I'm on the subject, who are the best local tuners in the PDX area both for installation and tuning of performance parts?

damn thing.. posted on another thread.. sometimes I hate internet explorer.... soo....
I guess now it will be harder to find an MR. When I was at Beaverton Mitsu, they told me that with the 10 coming out later, they have haulted production of the MR. So what is built is all that will be built until later after the 10 comes out. Anybody else hear this? If this is the case, then it might be harder to get a dealer not to sell them for anything less than the addendum price.

I drove down from Seattle to get my VIII MR from them. Call and ask for Internet sales. The guy was cool, basically said this is the price, take it or leave it. Best/smoothest car buying experience for me ever.

Beaverton Mitsu has a charcoal gray 06 IX MR, and a White one also. Ray Reece Mitsu has a White MR and a Silver MR both of them IX's.
Was car shopping this weekend with my buddy Shawn (babyevoviii I think on here) and we saw everybody's inventory.

i own a Charcoal Grey MR IX just bought it back in march. the car is wonderful, but your audio is going to suck. but put it this way. i got 7000 miles and i need a new clutch new brakes and new Tires already. take it to the track once every two weeks. and the cost is 4000 Installed. by Mitsu. MR is all the bells and whistles you can get from Factory, but raising the car is like raising a baby.. they cost too much. and being 250 pounds in a evo, dont fit too well lol. but power, and thrill, it comes with the car. if you are looking to tune the car. dont, jsut wait til RAlliart is ready. because as sooon as you tune the car, with any aftermarket parts your warranty is pretty much done. but talk to your local dealer and see what they argree to tune and not to tune.
