I'm not going to run, but if the weather is nice I may swing by to hang out - are you running AM or PM?

Hey - I've never done a WWSCC auto-x before, can I just show up and register/run on site (Noivce PM)?

Why not do novice am, that way you can have a chance at a trophy

novice AM was a frick'n blast. It was very wet, but I was happy with how I did. I steadily improved every run and ended up winning novice, and setting the 9th fastest time out of the morning (wet) session (44 or 46 cars). I was very pleased give the fact it was my first autocross ever, and I didn't have a clue on setting pressures for the wet with the PS2's. I may have to get a real set of tires and do this more often...

I'll post a link to the timesheets when they're up.

Jay had a good time driving, but was mis-reading the course the first 3 runs (ending up getting gates called against him). He definitely got the award for most slide-ways. The last two runs he cleaned up a bit and was threw down a 38 something. the top cars in class at that time (in the dry) were in the 36's. He was complaing of massive oversteer and thinks he needs to do some rear suspension adjustment.

as promised:

thanks I enjoyed it. was a really fun course. now to get a real set of tires and another degree of negative camber up front. I would have loved to do a run in the dry in the afternoon, but I felt bad for the tires. I really chewed the outside edges in the wet and I would have trashed them in the dry. That and I gave Jay W. my last $20 because he forgot his wallet at home... You guys looked great in the Subie in the afternoon, really quick.
