You shouldn't need to. I run 255s on a 9" wheel with a 38mm offset, the car is slammed and I still have clearance.

Just went on a little drive on Black Diamond Road. Tires are taking the twisties pretty well. Hmmmm, had the S-Techs on for almost 2 years and my struts are fine. Didnt know you were an expert Towlie????

question why did you go with a 245-35?? 245-40 is closer in diameter to stock tire size.

Not that its a huge deal, but I didnt want to have any issues with rubbing or having to roll my fenders. Thanks for the concern though.

245-35-18 2.3% difference, 245-4-18 1.5% difference so not to far off 60 mph on stock tires you will read 61.3 about on your tires now i know different tire brands can vary in diameters also.

It's well documented how they blow struts. They sag after 5-6 months use. Sounds like a quality spring to defeat the purpose of an evo

Like I said, I have had them on for almost 2 years without any problems. I am done talking about this particular subject. Have a good one,,,,,
