Talking New Tires on the Evo

So it was time for me to get some new tires. My old tires were Toyo Proxes FZ4 225/40x18's. The new ones are Toyo T1R's 245/35x18's. I will post some pics later.

most worthless tire ever in its class. I inflated them to 40psi cold and they still understeered horribly in the dry. Should have gone with the KDW2 in the same price range.

they were great every day street tires, but the side wall is so soft my car had nothing but understeer when pushing it. After I switched to neovas the understeer went completely away.

I went from advans to the T1R's, I was stuck with a flat and I needed to get to work and they couldn't fix my advan, so I opted for the best tire they had at les schwab hoping it would be decent and bought a set. bad choice.

8.5's? you should be tucking some 65's under there.

I forgot, ryan is sponsered by les schwabbies, so he had to get the schewabbie specials.

I would go wider myself, having the rim to do so.

I am not a fan of the EDM style leet tire strething yo.
