well i drove it straight through. and i have plans on making a few stops, in a drive like this where the road is so curvy, windy, AWEsome you need to give your brain a break. or you will make a mistake.

so i would say about 3 hours from start to finish,

Sounds like fun!! I may try to make it. The gravel section is tough, but sometimes you have to do that to find really cool/fun roads that aren't traveled on real frequently, and your suggestion of allowing 2 mins or so between cars should make it not so bad.

it isnt like a total massive amount of huge bumps, it is pretty smooth. but there will be dust, nothing that cant be washed off.

i did over 15 miles of back gravle roads this weekend in my car, witch it set up for the track, and i had no issues on this small section of road. i was able to keep a 35-40mph pace with no issues.

Sounds fine, I'll probably turn around about half-way through (possibly right before the gravel?? hahahah, j/k.. sorta.. but not really). I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and picking up some tips on how to properly drive this beast :P

Ok well i guess im taking over the drive then. However things might change a bit... we are trying to decide whether or not to keep the drive route planned, or change it to a hood river run.

Im not all the familiar with the newburg area (but i am gunna bring a guy who is) and Im really familiar with the Mt hood / Hood river area. So... if we keep it then im kinda up in arms about stops and where to take pics etc... and if we change the drive around a bit... then i can figure out a good plan on where to stop and places to eat and so on.

Also if we change the drive we can meet up off of Airport way in the best buy / Michaels parking lot.

Its up to everyone going though... so please post up what you all wanna do. and we will go from there.

K thanks,
chris
