Its official, as of tonight I am back into the realm of Evolutions!! My insurance finally settled last Friday, and I went up to Renton Mitsu and bought a beatiful GG MR. Hmm.. should I change my name???

I just got back home, I'm dead tired, I'm outta here.

Dang Shawn is pumping out the GG MRs in Renton..

I need a new car..

I got my GG MR in January in Renton and hadn't seen another GG around town.. But, LAST Friday when I was coming home from work, saw (on I-5) another GG MR with in-transit stickers from Renton.

Then I went to dinner the same Friday night and saw a GG MR at the RAM restraunt in Lacey...

Now js06evoix's got another!

I need a new car... Or at least a different color...

Alright so here's the scoop on the whole deal.

After having to contact the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner, and requesting an investigation, and escalating my process above my adjuster's head, I finally had resolution as of last Friday.

So I visited Beaverton Mitsu yesterday, because they had a GG MR, and I have had good luck with their service department (Mike, Andy and Jack anyway, have always been great to me).

I spoke with their sales people about the possibility of buying their car. I asked for a price, and they offered the car to me for 37k. They didn't sound like they wanted to go down at all. While they were doing there little office huddle, I texted Shawn (BabyEvo8), asking him to call Renton Mitsu and get a price for their GG MR (they had 3). He called back, and told me they'd sell it for way less than Beaverton. Told me they would fax proof of their offer to Beaverton Mitsu so that they could give it to me.

So I walked, came home, applied online, and headed up that way. By the time I got there, the car had been detailed and fueled, the paperwork completely done, and I just had to sign. It took all of like 20 minutes, and I am very happy with the end result.

I hate going to dealerships, but I think that's about the least amount of trouble I've had buying a car. And they kept their word, and sold the car to me for the price I wanted. So I can't complain.

 

Well good to have you back. All these Shawns!! Shawn that works in sales at Renton is the one that I dealt with when I bought this car.

 

Yeah, Shawn Bell(e) I think. I know a few Shawn/Sean's myself, so yeah it does get confusing. Carl was who ended up doing the final deal though on mine.
