Pretty fun night at PIR last night. Last time I ran my car the clutch was slipping on the launch so I knew my chance of it holding c16 29psi would be slim, but thought might as well. I ended up running the same times I ran on pump, clutch wasnt slipping off the launch, but would slip in 3rd and 4th gear, which made for pump gas traps. So best time for me was 12.6@106.

After John Bradleys flash nick went 12.7 @ 105 on pump with his 03, just has exhaust and a filter.

I did 12.209 @ 113.35 in my IX, not even 3000 miles on it yet. If I could hold more than 21psi at redline 11's should be easy.

WTF was up with that GT35R evo, 33psi and mostly 12's? How does 500whp = low 120mph traps? Doesn't make sense.

I saw Ifarted2 make one 12.0 pass, rest were 12.2--, I have yet to see a gt35 equipped evo do anything impression, overkill IMO.

come out and do some freeway pulls with me. might want to bring some binoculars so you can see something impressive from FAR behind. oh snap, im sounding like a srt driver . ask paul if you can drive his car. hes allways willing to let someone show him how its done. no joking here. its allot harder to drive a 35r at the track than you think. then again im olny putting down 441.

without breaking any rules of the vender stuff, can you pm what he charges? looking for someone to move my rev limiter up to 8200 only. everyone wants full cost for just a five minute deal.

Thats why I am saying gt35s are overkill on most. Cant expect something with a 2000rpm powerband to make for impressive times. Sure it would be fun on the highway, but that just gets me in trouble. You and Paul have almost exact traps and ets, but your making 60whp less than him, not sure whats up with that.

BTW what happened to your evo? Hope nothing too bad that car is clean...

Just buy the tacktrix cable - well worth it and you can do it all yourself

im not sure whats up with pauls. has he hit an 11.89 yet? i havent ran yet with new trans and clutch. i know for sure with the trap im hitting ill be deep in the 11's if a can make it to the track. LOL, i pulled the ultimate fubar. comeing down 503 from st helens my gas light came on so i decided to save gas by coasting down the hill. no big deal, till i forgot i was only coasting and hit a half moon cure that posted 25 and i was doing 60. well i went ot give it a little gas to stick the corner and hit the rev limiter. i ended up drifting the curce till the *** end alsmost came all the way around and i finally caught traction and drove off the side of the road. my fmic got dented on the bottom from hitting the tow hook and allot of scatches on the bumper. ive got expoxy, paint, and some misc. stuff to fix her up today. that will the LAST time i coast into a corner thats for sure

Im not sure either whats going on with his evo.

Get to the track I imagine the shifting issue should be eliminated now that you got the trans and clutch taken care off.
Sucks that happened yesterday, fmic still holding?
