So I am back safely in Eugene. Just got done picking up EricR's EVO 8.

My oh my, first off, pictures didn't do the car justice. Amazing to look at, clean as a whistle. Absolutely love it. Overall power was more than I was expecting honestly, pulls MUCH stronger than I expected.

In terms of handling, oh my! Car handles like it's on rails. Absolutely the best handling car I have owned/driven. I took one of my favorite on ramps and scared myself the first time anticipating having to correct for my induced oversteer (I have owned all RWD platforms). I looped around and took it again and just kept floored in it, scary, yes, but my oh my it felt like I could go even faster. Definitely will have to continue learning slowly so I don't become the next internet celebrity.

Very much have to thank Eric for being an all around good guy and I apprecaite him giving me the honor of taking his baby from him today. Hopefully I will meet more of you as time passes.

PS: My friend and I both got pulled over in our EVO's on the way back home. 153 dollar speeding tickets, didn't ask for our registration or insurance, simply took our licenses and gave us a ticket within 5 minutes. Oh well, we made good time back to Oregon!

 

So do I get to drive it sometime this week?
